The annual meeting of SAZCIV will be held at the Mexican Consulate in Tucson. The event is from 2 – 4.
Keynote Speaker Norman Houston is the head of Northern Ireland Bureau in Washington, D.C, the official Northern Ireland mission to the United States. In this role, he holds the rank of Ambassador and focuses on creating connections and collaborations between Northern Ireland and organizations and individuals in North America. This talk is timed to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the Good Friday Accords, the landmark peace agreement between Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom.  Mr. Houston, a delightful speaker, is the consummate diplomat who will share his stories and insights into Northern Ireland from historic and contemporary perspectives. It is an honor and privilege for SACIV to welcome him to Tucson.
Program of the year award winners are Pascua Yaqui Chief of Police Michael Valenzuela and Lieutenant Elizabeth Esparsa. Volunteer of the year award winner is Nancy Stanley.
Appetizers will be served by Armando Trujillo and his team from Northern Arizona University.
