Mexico City Adventure

One of the most interesting thing on the trip to Mexico City was the number of statues they have to many of the country hero’s and the history behind them. The streets that we traveled are full of trees and parks

Some of the buildings are still suffering from the damage from the earthquake and others have been torn down. Such a tragedy for the city and the country.
The visit to the embassy was truly worth the trip. We gained great invite and information that will enable us to bring more programs, both IVLP and exchange, to southern Arizona
We toured part of the city on a tour bus and will finish the tour tomorrow before heading home on Friday  very early morning.
What an honor for Maria and Pat to represent CDA on this trip.
