The Tucson Police Department with Assistant Chief Carla Johnson welcome the visitors from around the world as they discuss Gender Based Violence. The Tucson Police Department is always willing to meet with the visitors to share knowledge and experience.
The Shadow Wolves hosted the visitors from Europe, taking them on a tour of how the tracking works and the dedicated work of these Tohono O’odham members of ICE.
In July we were fortunate to have visitors from Columbia who had a chance to see the Mexican/American border and visit with Sheriff Tony Estrada. It is always a pleasure for the visitors to spend time with the Sheriff and learn of border issues.
In November we hosted a group from the Pacific Islands where they were fortunate enough to meet with the Pascua Yaqui police department, and then on to the Tohono O’odham reservation where they met with the SXD Education Program Manager. European visitors meeting the Shadow Wolves on their visit to SAZCIV. The Shadow Wolves are a part of ICE but all members of the Tohono O’odham nation serving as trackers for ICE. Kevin Carlos, with the Shadow Wolves, is an outstanding addition to the security of the USA.
Pat, Greg, and Alma took these visitors from the countries of Italy and Lithuania to Guadalajara Grill for dinner. This delightful group enjoyed both the food and the music by the Mariachi.
