Andrew Selee Event – June 12, 2018

SAZCIV hosted an event with Andrew Selee at the Community Room at Pima Community College District office.  The event had over 124 people in attendance.  At the talk in Nogales, AZ there were 80 people in attendance.

Andrew Selee’s book, “Vanishing Frontiers†had just been released and he was here to share his story of the Mexico USA connections with people from the area.

Andrew’s views have been shared with leaders from both countries and quoted in an AP article about the upcoming elections in Mexico as an expert on Mexico USA relations.

Many thanks to Patricia Houston for organizing this special event and to Greg Houston for bringing Andrew to Tucson!  Following are some pictures from the event.

Next speaker will be Mohamed Amin Ahmed from Minneapolis on avoidance of youth becoming involved in terrorist organizations.  This will be on August 17.  More details to follow as time gets closer!
