So the end of an era has arrived, Pat Watson, Executive Director for Citizen Diplomacy Alliance in Tucson for the past 15 years is stepping down. The final annual meeting for her was held at the Mexican Consulate in Tucson with members and friends.
Patricia Houston, Peter Beskhazy, Vice Council, Lee Wong and Pat shared memories of the years and excitement for the future. Abbi Gold will be taking over the responsibility of programming for the organization.
Peter and Patricia presented Pat with lovely gifts as a departure, those will be treasured memories for Pat for years to come.

As Pat leaves her post she wants to encourage everyone to stay connected with CDA, support the organization, become involved and continue to attend the mixers and other activities CDA provides for the members and and international visitors that come to southern Arizona. This amazing organization has hosted thousands of visitors over the years and shared knowledge and insight with presenters as well as learning from them. Diplomacy takes all of us, Citizen Diplomacy Alliance is proud to be associated with Global Ties US and the US Department of State Education and Cultural Affairs division. This work is critical to share the kindness, knowledge, friendship and more with the visitors to take home and inform those at home that the USA was a great place to visit. Continue the work!
