It is always a joy to see happy visitors and this is a great shot of a super bunch that visited the craft shops at San Xavier Plaza today (thanks to our driver Brian for taking it).
They are here on a program titled “Chile Promoting Environmental Sustainability in Indigenous led Small Businesses” which has them visiting the University of Arizona Native Nations Institute at the University of Arizona, the San Xavier Cooperative Association farm, Trail Dust Town (for fun), Harbottle Brewery since one of the visitors has a brewery in Chili, The San Xavier Mission and a meeting with Chairman Nunez of the Tohoho O’odham. When they get ready to depart on Saturday they will stop at the Sonoran Desert Museum on their way to Phoenix for the next leg of their trip.
What a delightful group, they will make a difference when they get home with all the new things they have learned.
