We enjoyed a mixer with the visitors at Monterey Court Cafe. Such a great group, friendly and interested in sharing their story with us. We learned a great deal about Indonesia.
The visit to the Pasqua Yaqi Police Department was informative as well as welcoming. We thank the Chief and Lt. for spending time with us and sharing some of the history of the tribe with us.
The Chief of Police talked to the group, and answered questions.
The group also met with Ben Casey, Prosecutor for the tribe before the police department. They wanted to go back and see him again. He really impressed them.
A visit to Nogales and the border wall before meeting with the Supervisor of District One, Manny Ruiz, was also of interest to the group. Then off to lunch and their meeting.
